The London Blitz American football team are a family. In 2006 they were newly promoted to the top division of the BAFL and were tipped to go straight back down again.
In their very first game of the season they faced the defending champions their cross town rivals The London Olympians.

This game was their making.

The Blitz held an 8 and 2 record all season and battled thought the play offs to make the finals - Brit Bowl XX. In the final they would once again face The London Olympians only this time their lack of depth and inexperience saw them falter in the third quarter and although they rallied hard in the final quarter it just was not enough.

The Blitz 2007 season has started off well and having won all but 1 of their matches they seem to be on course. The success of last season has attracted many new players adding the depth that they so desperately needed.
